The Coffee
Norman Mukuru runs The Coffee Yard near Mt. Elgon, producing high-quality natural coffees with The Coffee Gardens. Their unique Imbalu Coffee micro-lots are inspired by a local Bagisu rite of passage where unattended cherries fermented naturally. This legendary accident inspired a shift from traditional washed processing to dry processing, giving the coffee its distinctively sweet flavour profile.
We recommend drinking this coffee black using filter methods to best appreciate its potential.
