Lessons about good coffee

I spent a fabulous July morning with the friendly team of Casa Espresso, learning about the different types of coffee (washed and unwashed), the correct grinding and brewing time and the weight of a double espresso - the rule is any good coffee should be a double espresso and that unwashed beans taste best and add flavour to coffee and coffee-based drinks. I tasted a lot of different coffee drinks and learned more about them, and the entire process, from harvesting to rating and brewing, was explained or demonstrated to me. I would recommend anybody interested in good coffee to attend this morning course hosted by the team of Nino, Jonny and Dave. My primary interaction was with Dave and Jonny. I left there very caffeinated and purchased two bags of coffee. I find the Union Blend (Columbian and Brazillian) to be the most suitable for my palate. Give this roastery and course a try, and be pleasantly surprised. Thanks, guys, for such an enlightening and enjoyable morning.

Outstanding in a word.

It’s the second course I’ve done probably/ definitely because I love coffee so much, the dude I did the course with (sorry I’m rubbish with names) was excellent, absolutely knew his stuff and even though I can hold my own in a coffee conversation but still I learnt some great information. He is super friendly and the perfect trainer. Thanks for a great course
