This is our most popular espresso blend, named after the area where we are based. Charlestown is more of a traditional style blend, with lots of body which cuts perfectly through milk.

We 've tried it all

We travel a lot and we drink coffee everywhere we go. Often buying a KG bag of beans from local roasters to try at home in our search for that perfect cup. The most recent cost £60 from Arabica in Bangkok. Whilst most are good, they do not compare with Casa Espresso's Charlestown Blend. It's smooth, well balanced medium roast with just the right amount of acidity works perfectly with our La Marzocco machine and we often find ourselves wishing our latest oversea's purchase of beans was gone so that a brand new bag of Charlestown beans can be opened guaranteeing great coffee for the next couple of weeks. Perhaps it's time to curb our desire to experiment with alternative blends, perhaps we just need to accept, that our home town of Shipley roasts the best beans anywhere and does it better than anyone.

Cherlestown Espresso Blend

We bought our very first coffee machine a few months back, originally we tried supermarket beans however the taste was lacking so we popped down to get some freshly roasted beans from these guys who were polite & helpful to us, ever since then we have used/ordered the Charlestown Espresso Blend which is absolutely divine it just tastes so damn good, me and the wife love this and drink it everyday. we also now order this on a monthly basis, I would highly recommend using these guys as the beans are freshly roasted and they provide the dates on the packaging, I wouldn’t go anywhere else now for my coffee beans.

Charlestown for me every time

I absolutely love this coffee, which is smooth and full of flavour - I have tried many different brands but keep coming back to Charlestown. It is definitely worth paying a premium.

Hubby's favourite

I purchased this for my husband as a strong deep flavour of coffee, he loves it. We have used it for espresso shots, flat white and lattes in our home machine. It's one of our 3 must haves in the house now.
