Wholesale Account Manager & Barista Trainer
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, proactive, and committed individual with a profound interest in specialty coffee and a dedication to excellence in customer service. In this role, you will serve as a key representative of our brand, promoting our product offerings and contributing to the continued growth and success of the business.
The Role
This is a hands-on, varied role where you’ll be the face of Casa. You’ll spend your time supporting our partners with expert barista training (both on-site and at our roastery), managing accounts, and seeking out exciting new business opportunities. Host cupping events with our wholesale partners
When you aren’t out on the road, you’ll be an integral part of our roastery team—helping with cuppings, assisting the production crew with packing or deliveries, and representing us at events.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Training & Support: Lead barista training sessions to ensure our quality standards are met across all accounts.
- Account Management: Build lasting relationships with independent cafes, restaurants, and hotels, helping them grow through new products and technical support.
- Growth: Identify and pursue new wholesale leads and business opportunities via networking and outreach.
- Technical Assistance: Assist with equipment installations and troubleshoot machine or grinder issues for our clients.
- Team Support: Roll up your sleeves to help the production team when needed.
- Cupping Events: Arrange public cupping events with our wholesale partners and at the roastery.
- Brand Awareness: Fly the flag for Casa by attending trade & retail events, and out of the business.
- Consistency: Support partners with initial setup and ongoing coffee quality checks
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: At least 2 years in the specialty coffee industry and 2 years of professional barista experience.
- Skills: Strong technical knowledge of espresso machines and grinders.
- Communication: Great with people! You should be able to build rapport easily and communicate clearly.
- Drive: A self-motivated “can-do” attitude. Pro-Active. You’re happy to think on your feet and help out wherever the team needs you.
- License: A full, clean UK driving license is essential.
- Love for coffee: Passionate about coffee, knowledgeable in all different brewing methods, new trends and committed to raising standards
- Flexibility: Ability to carry out occasional evening or weekend work for which time will be given back in lieu
- Energetic, personable, and outgoing: Be someone who goes above and beyond to find a ‘yes’ and to treat others as you would want to be treated.
Job Details & Benefits
- Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per year.
- Hours: Full-time (40 hours), Monday–Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm.
- Holidays: 20 days plus bank holidays, with an extra paid shutdown over Christmas.
