25 Years of Casa Coffee Roasters: From Spare Room to Roastery in the Heart of Bradford
2025 is a big year for Bradford and for us too. As the city celebrates being the UK City of Culture, we’re proud to mark a milestone of our own: 25 years of Casa Coffee Roasters.
It’s been quite the journey. From our humble beginnings in a spare room in Keighley to becoming Bradford’s first specialty coffee roasters in 2014, we’ve kept the same family values of quality, care and community.
A Bradford-Born Coffee Story
Casa was founded in 2000 by Tony Di Rienzo, building on over 40 years of family experience in Bradford’s food and hospitality scene. He began by importing Italian espresso machines, supplying independent cafés across the North.
In 2007, Tony’s son Nino took over and saw a gap in the local market, taking Casa in a new direction of high-quality, small batch coffee, he took Casa in a new direction. By 2014, we were roasting our own ethically sourced beans in Shipley, making us Bradfords first specialty coffee roasters. We’ve been roasting ever since.
Our Coffee Philosophy
At Casa, we believe coffee brings people together, from the farmers who grow it to the people who drink it. We roast in small batches, source responsibly, and always aim to bring out the best in every bean. Whether you’re a wholesale partner or a home brewer, we’re here to help you brew better with the support, equipment and training you need.

New Look, Same Casa
To mark 25 years, we’re evolving, with a new name and refreshed look that feels more like who we are today. From Casa Espresso Coffee Roasters to simply Casa Coffee Roasters. While the packaging might change, our values and our coffee – stay the same.
